Company/Location Overview

The Global Acquisition Director is responsible for setting the vision and transforming the talent acquisition function to support the identification and recruitment of a high performing, high growth global organization to meet Sazerac's current and future talent needs.

Job Description/Responsibilities

  • Develop global talent acquisition strategy in partnership with function leaders. Formulate an employer branding strategy; consistently communicate the brand via social media, college recruiting and other means and ensure appropriate use of content branding working in partnership with internal communications and marketing. Identify, evaluate and attract optimal talent from the broadest range of traditional, new and emerging channels available to drive quality and pace of candidate sourcing without compromise.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with the senior leadership team to help facilitate the development of comprehensive global talent acquisition strategies and programs. Develop keen understanding of recruitment profiles needed for each function and identify target organizations/roles based on these profiles. Develop a clear and engaging employee value proposition for use across the global organization.

  • Defines a truly strategic approach to talent acquisition by partnering with the leadership of each functional area of the business to drive exceptional strategic thinking around meeting future needs across all hiring discipline. Set the vision and transform the talent acquisition function to support the identification and recruitment of a high performing, high growth global organization to meet Sazerac’s current and future talent needs. Ensure that all talent acquisition programs are formulated and conducted in accordance with company culture and policies, and all applicable laws, regulations and standards.

  • Lead the development of a deep database of targeted organizations and individuals; develop a strategy and process for building relationships with target candidates. Select best-in-class partners and ensure they are selling the Sazerac message consistently. Lead selection of all talent acquisition outside partners and develop management processes to regularly provide feedback and monitor results. Insure they are communicating the Sazerac branding message consistently and effectively.

  • Design and implement creative, best in class resourcing solutions and initiatives. Formulate advanced talent acquisition programs, representing best practices and the latest thinking, which comprise all elements of the talent acquisition process from initial requisition through to onboarding and reporting and management information.

  • Select, lead, develop and retain a global talent acquisition staff, providing regular feedback on quality of internal relationships and results based on agreed upon KPI’s. Formulate and implement competency improvement programs for both self and staff.

  • Ensure the CDS is effectively utilized to develop and advance internal talent. Collaborates with talent acquisition team members to develop and execute robust career development plans and provide actionable feedback and developmental coaching that leads to achievement of career goals.

  • Formulate and manage talent acquisition tracking systems and programs to drive clear reporting of and continuing measurement of effectiveness of all talent acquisition programs utilizing clear metrics and key performance indicators.

Qualifications/Requirements

Must
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources or related field

  • Record of successful leadership

  • 10 years relevant experience (minimum)

  • Requires Experience driving change in an organization

  • Requires Demonstrated experience developing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies and programs

  • 3 years talent acquisition experience in a diverse global environment
