Welcome to Barton 1792 Distillery! Our proud heritage dates back to 1879 with the founding of the Tom Moore Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky.

Shipping/Receiving Utilities are responsible for learning all roles within our Finished Goods department including CDL Truck Driver, Forklift Operator, Palletizer, and Sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of trucks and forklifts 
• Transport goods and materials to designated location(s)
• Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws to maintain a safe driving record
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Load and unload cargo
• Pick customer orders
• Complete sanitation routes within the Distribution Center when needed (floor cleaner, trash, etc.)

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A License 
• Ability to work an off shift with overtime on weekends (as needed)
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
