Job Description/Responsibilities

The Talent Management Manager will serve as a program manager designing, developing, and/or overseeing key talent areas, including performance management, talent reviews/ succession planning frameworks, career pathing strategies, talent profiles, and leadership/high potential development. This role requires a dynamic individual with a solid understanding of talent management principles and a passion for fostering employee growth and development.

 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on and lead the optimization and expanded use of the Performance Management program (PDS). Support the effective planning, execution, and evaluation of team member goals in PDS through training and coaching. 
  • Partner in the development and execution of succession planning programs and frameworks to ensure a strong pipeline of talent for critical roles.
  • Identify key positions and critical skill sets within the organization and ensure succession plans are developed to mitigate risk and ensure business continuity. Work closely with senior leadership and HR partners to align succession planning efforts with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the design and execution of career pathing frameworks across the organization. Provide best practice support and coaching for projects focused on career pathing/mapping.  Drive the integration of career pathing into relevant talent programs, including talent acquisition, PDS/CDS, and learning & development.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues, department heads and managers to identify high-potential talent and key development areas. Organize and educate managers on development resources.
  • Lead talent review processes to assess the skills, performance, and potential of employees across the organization. Analyze talent review data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for talent development and succession planning. Train managers and HR partners on talent review process.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements

MUST

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing talent management strategies
  • Experience leading talent reviews, succession planning and career development discussions.
  • Knowledge of performance management principles and program execution
  • Familiarity with career pathing approaches
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Ability to drive results in a complex, high-growth company
  • 5 years relevant experience (minimum)
