Job Description/Responsibilities

Responsible for leading website development and managing external MarTech agencies on designing, coding and maintenance according to Sazerac Global E-business team and brand’s specifications across all Sazerac .COM platforms. 

 

  • Use PDS (Performance Development System) to enhance performance within the company through evaluation, planning, and goal execution. Strive to constantly develop oneself as a valuable asset through personal and professional growth and attention to the position’s outcomes.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance websites and applications to meet Sazerac brands’ needs and requirements.  Ensure websites are optimized for search engines through proper use of HTML and other coding practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve website development and performance.  Partner with E-Business Analyst to obtain and utilize data analytics to monitor and evaluate Website Development making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Work with DTC Digital Experiences Manager to support on developments required to enhance customer engagement.  Collaborate with brand and DTC teams to understand business needs, project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Oversee agencies with web development and use of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build user interfaces and enhance user experience.  
  • In partnership with Global E-Merchandising and Digital Shelf team, work with content management systems (CMS) to create, update, and manage website content. Customize and extend CMS functionalities to meet specific business needs. Ensure well-designed, testable, and efficient code is implemented by external agencies according to the best software development practices. 
  • Collaborate with Global Head of DTC/.com Brands, Digital Experiences manager and agencies to create sites visually appealing, user-friendly design and with clear navigation.  Lead the implementation of responsive design and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices. Develop and maintain robust and scalable server-side applications and services. Ensure the security and integrity of back-end systems and databases. 
  • Manage the Website Development MarTech partners, budget and governance, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Manage server-side aspects of web development, including database integration and API development. Together with Digital Operations Manager, optimize website performance for speed and scalability, identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and compatibility problems, and implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrable expertise working with Adobe full Ecosystem (AEM, Commerce, CDP, AJO,…) or other major solutions (i.e., Salesforce, …).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and back-end development skills, including experience with server-side languages.
  • Expertise using content management tools such as HeyOrca, Sprout Social, etc.
  • Knowledge of database systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL,…
  • Experience with SEO best practices, responsive and adaptive design, and web performance optimization techniques.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, & project management skills
  • 4 years relevant experience (minimum)
  • If remote, must be able to travel to the Louisville office a few times a month.
