Job Description/Responsibilities

About the Role

The Marketing Account Associate  is a critical player in the global Demand team center of excellence (COE), collaborating closely with the in-house multi-discipline agency, The Shop, and the Growth and Innovation team. This dynamic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about both the creative and operational aspects of marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Management & Budget Oversight:
    • Set up new vendors, manage budgets, and handle billing processes.
    • Support leaders in negotiating multi-service agreements and scopes of work and work with legal.
    • Coordinate with accounting to ensure vendors have CDAs, correct payment terms, and understand billing procedures.
  • Advertising & Creative Asset Coordination:
    • Manage and track advertising content across brands, media platforms, and global markets.
    • Collaborate with IT and the digital asset manager to create a clear naming system and efficient ways of working.
    • Provide production support for creative teams during photo and video shoots, including sourcing props and managing talent paperwork and logistics including SAG protocols.
  • Communications & Sample Coordination:
    • Work with the communications team to design, source, pack, and ship product samples and branded merchandise to journalists, influencers, and celebrity partners.
    • Assist with press visits and events to ensure smooth execution.
  • Culture Building & Special Projects:
    • Coordinate culture-building activities for the Demand team, including training sessions, off-site social events, and year-end surveys.
    • Lead team culture projects and other special initiatives to support business needs.
  • Budget & Financial Management:
    • Track, code, and submit invoices, billing, and purchase orders.
    • Own monthly budget check-ins and roll-ups across the team and with key finance and accounting partners.
  • Performance Development:
    • Utilize PDS to enhance personal performance through evaluation, planning, and goal execution.
    • Continuously strive for personal and professional growth to become a valuable asset to the team.

Collaboration & Reporting

The Marketing Support Specialist will report to the agency account function and work with stakeholders in the US and globally within the Demand team (creative, media, PR, social, business intelligence, innovation, etc.) and across the broader marketing organization. You will also interact with key multi-functional partners like legal, finance, procurement, IT, sales, and operations.

Qualifications/Requirements

MUST:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall
  • Willingness to travel
  • Budgeting, planning, and/or financial analysis experience
  • Skilled in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Physical Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to pay attention to detail

Compensation: Placement within the salary range is calculated based on years of directly relatable experience for the position. The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel, or cell phone reimbursement.
