Company/Location Overview

Thank you for your interest in Northwest Ordinance Distilling, our first ever facility in the Hoosier state, and the newest facility in the Sazerac manufacturing network. Founded on the principles of servant leadership and continuous improvement our entire plant team works tirelessly to accomplish our vision:

Build the most efficient, flexible, and engaged plant and team in the Sazerac Manufacturing Network.

This facility specializes in small format production (50mL-375mL bottles) leveraging 14 high speed production lines to produce over 13 million cases of various spirits annually.

We are in search of talented individuals who have a strong desire to develop others and lead a team to success. Main focus for this role will be on shift production and driving capabilities through implementing sound manufacturing processes. This facility operates 24/7 and this role will work an alternative work schedule.

Job Description/Responsibilities

We are in search of a Bottling Supervisor with a focus on continus improvement, to help us drive our production efficiencies and create a sustainable process. This role will work closely with Plant Senior Leadership, Engineering, and Maintenance to lead CI initiatives. This facility is grounded in servant leadership where we strive to take the ideas from the floor to drive improvements and eliminate road blocks for our team.

 

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze production and downtime data to trend downtime causes and create prevention plans
  • Lead PDCA projects and drive lean manufacturing principles to the floor
  • Leverage the front-line team to eliminate safety, quality, and production risks
  • Lead RCA initiatives and drive preventative and corrective actions
  • Work alongside Maintenance and Maintenance Planners to ensure PM and CM priorities align for weekly outages
  • Implement CI principles and methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste
  • Help foster a culture of innovation through encouraging feedback and consistently following up with team members
  • Coach, motivate, and lead the teams to institute methods for sustaining the gains of each activity
  • Help develop and implement key performance metrics to monitor and measure the success of improvement projects

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of continuous improvement experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizing skills
  • Solid computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food and beverage industry experience
  • APICS or Six Sigma certification
  • Change management experience
