Key Responsibilities (job responsibilities may vary by state depending on regulatory and compliance standards for the state):

Also, build the ABA portfolio to scale where it justifies consistent programming and increased investment from Sazerac and the assigned account base for the retailers’ wine license footprint.
  • Develop relationships to the degree that we are considered a consultant, driven by mutual success and growth, rather than the typical supplier driven by self-interest.  Strengthen existing and develop new relationships within the Western part of the US and document within CMS.
  • Understand brand prioritization by state and customer for key brands. Keep the State Managers and NAM team informed of the progress on our spirits portfolio and also how ABA interacts with their traditional portfolios within the C-Store class of trade.
  • Secure, understand and utilize national and state level pricing standards and deviations for use with the strategic account presentations and execution compliance.  Be the eyes and ears so that timely feedback can be heard by brand teams.
  • Update the retailer and distributor contacts in the system.  This will be very important as we enter new channels and meet new buyers that may be separate from the spirits buyers as well as the alternative distributor network. This will also help immensely in setting up our Retailer Wiring process.
