Job Description/Responsibilities

This position is being scheduled to cover weekend operations and will consist of ~40 hours per week with the following days/shifts:

 

  • Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm (time/duration may vary due to business need)

The Processing Coordinator is responsible for clerical functions in the Processing Department; tracks inventories, inputs data in the JDE System, and performs other clerical duties as assigned.

 

  • Collects and enters data for Government records for designated Departments. Analyzes and reconciles the data prior to entry to ensure accuracy for spirits usage and lot tracking. Ensures activities and documentation are in compliance with regulatory agencies, including but not limited to TTB, OSHA, DOT, and FRA. Such activities or documentation may include Bills of Lading, placarding, and usage summaries. Ensures Processing operations meet regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA and TTB regulations. Takes immediate corrective action when needed to stay in compliance.
  • Ensures documentation of purchase, data entry, and inventory of bulk, raw materials and other supplies is accurately maintained, with results properly balanced and filed. Initiates and completes required reports, such as Bottling Tank Report, Ingredient Inventory, Month and Year End Inventory Report, Government Records, Loss Reports, Transfer Reports, and Work Orders. Completes inbound and outbound shipment paperwork and system transactions according to TTB and DOT standards and regulations. Identifies, analyzes and corrects errors on all transactions and reports. 
  • Evaluates records to improve recordkeeping and reporting performance.
  • Develops improvement plans to address any deficiencies particularly in areas involving records, reports, batch tracking or inventory tracking. Creates and develops a personal development plan with Processing Manager to improve a skill/competency that will develop personal skills and improve performance.  Focuses on Continuous Process Improvements with regards to Regulatory Compliance, Reporting and Inventory Control.
  • Continually seeks ways to improve performance as measured by Key Performance Indicators. Cross-trains in order to increase knowledge, improve processes, and to improve intra- and inter-departmental communications.
  • Continuously reviews and analyzes processes for improvement and to increase productivity and efficiency. Analyzes Data from internal and external sources to determine areas requiring Process Improvement.  Develops and Tracks Continuous Process Improvement Projects in all Processing Department activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years successful, related work experience
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Experience in manufacturing software (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS)
