Job Description/Responsibilities

The On Premise Regional Manager will manage local on premise chain accounts and build distributor relationships by developing and driving joint business plans in order to maximize Sazerac volume, distribution and share, while developing solutions to capitalize on growth opportunities.

 

Location: New Orleans, LA

 

Key Responsibilities (job responsibilities may vary by state depending on regulatory and compliance standards for the state): wholesaler management, joint business plans, pricing, programming, field training and managing local on premise chain accounts.

  • Develop relationships with local on premise chains and establish a Joint Business Plan to achieve distribution and implementation of key brands.
  • Lead KPI development with distributors to accelerate volume, distribution, and growth of overall share in each account. Implement annual programming within their respective distribution.
  • Ensure all pricing is consistent with brand strategies throughout the state. Recommend price changes or specific programming needs.
  • Facilitate necessary trainings to ensure distribution team is focused and knowledgeable on our products.
  • Provide outlet and state level intelligence to State Manager and Division Manager, to include brand information and emerging consumer behavior and consumption patterns.
  • Communicate with local on premise chains and distributors and lead best in class compliance to expected timelines.

Qualifications/Requirements

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience developing customer and distributor relationships
  • Ability to drive results in a complex, high-growth company
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Minimum 2 years sales management, distributor management or key account management experience in spirits industry for supplier or wholesaler
  • Minimum 2 years of on premise sales experience 
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 25 pounds without assistance

 

PREFERRED:

  • National account experience (all channels and classes of trade)
  • Market development and sales analysis experience

Placement within the salary range is calculated based upon years of directly relatable experience for the position. The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel or cell phone reimbursement.
