Job Description/Responsibilities

The Capital Program Manager will oversee multiple capital projects across all locations, ensuring smooth execution and governance. You will work closely with Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams, as well as business unit owners, to ensure projects align with company goals and standards. Your role will involve supporting strategic projects, developing best practices for project management, and driving cost savings and process improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Governance: Lead the planning and execution of multiple capital programs. Ensure daily interaction with Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams for proper governance and project alignment.
  • Business Partnership & Reporting: Regularly collaborate with business unit owners and report progress and results to company leaders.
  • Program Management Standards: Establish and promote best practices for program management across the company. Drive improvements in project execution, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget adherence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Focus on enhancing efficiency, growth, and cost savings through continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as a center of excellence for engineering projects from design through start-up.
  • Cross-Network Collaboration: Partner with facilities to implement cost-saving projects across locations. Identify best practices and ensure consistent application across all sites.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with environmental, safety, and legal regulations, continuously pursuing best practices.
  • Capability Development: Work with Plan Owners and Project Sponsors to develop comprehensive, innovative, and consistent capital plans. Create standardized project engineering processes to improve efficiency and project outcomes.

Personal & Professional Development:

  • Performance Development: Use the Performance Development System (PDS) to enhance personal and professional growth. Support the broader adoption of PDS throughout the organization to foster a strong company culture.
  • Career Development: Utilize the Career Development System (CDS) to identify training needs and design development programs to prepare for career growth within the company.

Qualifications/Requirements

To be successful in the role, you’ll need these requirements:

 

Submit a resume with your accomplishments and results

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of relevant experience managing large complex capital programs that impact the growth of a company including multiple locations, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience developing/implementing capability improvement programs (process improvement, systems analysis and design)
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience participating in and/or leading change management initiatives
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, initiative, attention to detail and creativity

PREFERRED

  • Master's degree in related field
  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG or FMCG  (consumer packaged goods or fast moving consumer goods) FMCG overall

Compensation: Placement within the salary range is calculated based on years of directly relatable experience for the position.
