The Social Media Specialist will be a vital part of Sazerac’s PR/Social team, serving as the primary liaison between our brands and their audiences across social media platforms (TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, and others). This role will produce engaging copy, schedule posts, develop and analyze reports, conduct social listening, manage channel engagement, and oversee community interactions. The specialist will also mentor and guide junior team members and interns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Social Media Development
- Contribute to developing and implementing social media strategies, working closely with U.S. and global brand teams to generate creative responses to briefs.
- Support the creation and execution of actionable social plans that align with brand strategy and positioning, reviewing initiatives regularly for relevance.
- Project & Priority Management
- Collaborate with the team to ensure project priorities are executed to their fullest potential, maintaining alignment with brand goals and strategy.
- Oversee consistent and professional community management across brand channels, ensuring all interactions align with established systems and calendars.
- Real-Time Reporting & Planning
- Support real-time reporting on social media plans and activations, enabling flexibility and improvement in planning and execution.
- Assist in identifying areas for improvement within the planning process and translate insights into actionable social plans.
- Personal Development & Growth
- Utilize the PDS (Performance Development System) to create and pursue a skill development plan in collaboration with the manager.
