Job Description/Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Business Manager will lead the consistent processes, systems, reporting and cross-functional support within the assigned region. This role is a key leader in sales to streamline support and execution in-market. Region: Southeast: GA, SC, MD, DE, FL

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Data-Driven Decision Making
    Utilize business data and state-specific priorities to guide field teams in brand execution, optimizing distribution, visibility, and portfolio performance.

  • Budget Management and Fiscal Planning
    Oversee the regional budget and support the fiscal planning process for the year, ensuring that financial resources align with strategic objectives. Track expenditures, analyze cost efficiencies, and adjust financial plans as needed to achieve budget targets.

  • Inventory Optimization and POS Management
    Manage inventory levels effectively to meet market demand and maximize sales opportunities. Oversee Point-of-Sale (POS) asset allocation, ensuring that field teams have the resources needed for impactful market presence.

  • Performance Monitoring and KPI Management
    Set clear KPIs for the regional team, monitor performance closely, and leverage sales data to drive progress toward business goals. Analyze regional sales trends and identify opportunities to refine strategies for maximum impact.

  • Sales Target Setting and Accountability

    Analyze sales data to set region-specific targets that are challenging yet achievable. Work closely with field teams to monitor progress, adjust targets as necessary, and ensure accountability at every level.
  • Collaborative Partnership
    Partner with the Regional Sales Execution Manager and Regional Sales Performance Coach to deliver on financial, safety, and team member goals. Foster alignment with Regional/National Accounts teams to standardize processes and drive cohesive execution.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Strong understanding of field sales execution and route-to-market design
  • 2+ years of work experience with consumer package goods (CPG) and/or alcohol beverage industry
  • 3+ years of experience budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis 
  • 1+  years of experience managing teams, preferably managing a frontline workforce
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow up skills
  • Prior experience leading and motivating a team of people
  • Skilled at managing financial results
  • Charismatic leader with evidence of strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
  • Ability to travel ~25%

PREFERRED

  • Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for an extended period of time

  • Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 35 pounds without assistance

  • Ascend or descend stairs

  • Ability to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day

  • Strong communication skills


• Placement within the salary range is calculated based upon years of directly relatable experience for the position.
• The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel or cell phone reimbursement
