What Will You Be Doing?

 

Job Description

Production Technicians are responsible for operating bottling equipment, monitoring production processes, ensuring product quality, performing routine line maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness of the Production Floor. Production Technicians work in small teams, where relationships and teamwork drive the success of the facility.

 

Additional Responsibilities for the Production Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate industrial equipment (may include but not limited to fork trucks, palletizers, labelers, fillers, and other equipment used in a bottling manufacturing facility)
  • Perform equipment set-up, lubrication, line changeovers, and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Adhere to all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices. Own the standard operating procedures for the job and perform in accordance with standards
  • Continuously seek ways to improve performance and quality-driven actions that lead to award-winning results

  • Starting pay: $25.77, with yearly increases of $1 for the first 3-years of employment

What Are We Looking For?

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel and squat
  • Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating machinery
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work overtime if necessary
  • Ability to work any shift, with bi-annual shift preference determined by seniority
    • 1st shift: 7am-3pm
    • 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm
    • 3rd shift: 11pm-7am

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
