Job Description/Responsibilities

Bio: This role is responsible for planning and coordinating activities of system solutions to ensure that business unit objectives are met. Understands the long term business needs of assigned business units, and ensures those goals are enabled with an optimal systems architecture. Will ensure all project objectives are clearly documented, approved, and delivered to meet the customer’s needs. This role will oversee multiple roles responsible for systems including but not limited to WMS, YMS, and TMS. 

 

  • Conduct PDS reviews to improve skills and performance utilizing PDS as tool to conduct optimal performance discussions, articulate consistent skill evaluations, recommend actions and tactics, and measure progress. Support the widespread use of PDS within the IT organization. Promote and support Company culture within the IT organization. 
  • Analyze the component inventory, looking for obsolete items, usage data, and inventory level need. Assist in physical inventories and improve reporting capabilities. 
  • Support the manufacturing and logistics team with IT related tasks, architecture, and reporting related to this priority. 
  • Assess the reports and intelligence needed by the client groups, integrate the intelligence and train team members on how to ultimately generate the intelligence on their own. 
  • Be the IT lead for all WMS implementations and responsible for the successful rollout of the system and related processesResponsible for project management and corresponding change management of the project. 
  • Design, implement a computerized system / process to track all barrels in the warehouse system and the warehouse system itself. Automate Government reporting. Investigate and utilize new technology for the distillery and warehouse operations. 
  • Working with FEG and user suggestions, continually address and enhance ERP system functionality and develop integration point with 3rd party applications to improve processes and systems. Upgrade ERP to selected tool. Set up user testing, assign authorization roles to all users, user testing and validation of all areas of the ERP, set milestones, team leaders, end-user training and acceptance and go-live dates per plant. 
  • Continue to setup a solution that cost effectively delivers a fully integrated EDI solution that allows Sazerac to communication flawlessly to/from all business partners with all transaction types needed. 
  • Provide mentorship, training and opportunity for the individuals in the department to grow within Sazerac based on their career development plan. Knows the career goals and plans for the team and works to develop and retain key successors in the organization. 
  • Utilize PPT as a task/project management tool where and when appropriate. Use PPT to accelerate progress on projects, identify / keep in contact with team members and make sure all projects are up to date. 

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements 

MUST  

  • Master's degree in related field 
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects at one time 
  •  Strong planning and organizational skills 
  •  Ability to communicate with all levels of an org 
  • 7+ years implementation or project management experience. 
  • Executive presence.  

 

PREFERRED 

 

  • 7+ years Change Management experience 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to travel up to 20%
