Job Description/Responsibilities

HR Data Analytics Specialist

 

The HR Data Analytics Specialist will leverage data-driven insights to improve HR processes, enhance team member experience, and support strategic decision-making. The HR Data Analytics Specialist will collaborate with HR and business leaders to deliver actionable insights and support organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Power BI Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
  • Create custom visuals, data models, and implement data-driven solutions to address complex HR challenges.
  • Continuously improve dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

 

Data Integration:

  • Integrate HR data from various sources (e.g., HRIS systems, Dayforce, Applicant Tracking systems) to create a comprehensive and accurate data repository for analysis.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across all HR data systems and processes.

 

Data Analytics & Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to team member performance, recruitment, retention, compensation, and workforce demographics.
  • Create and maintain HR dashboards and reports to track key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, engagement scores, time-to-fill, etc.).
  • Develop predictive models to forecast workforce trends, turnover, and other critical HR metrics.

 

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to understand their analytics needs and identify key HR metrics.
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to influence decision-making.
  • Communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align analytics with business objectives.

 

Compliance & Benchmarking:

  • Ensure that HR data complies with legal and regulatory standards, including data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR).

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or certifications in HR analytics is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR data analytics, workforce planning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Excel).
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization.
  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and machine learning.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights for non-technical stakeholders.
