Job Description/Responsibilities

Are you ready to take the helm of one of the hottest, most iconic brands in the spirits industry? As the Senior Brand Manager for Fireball, you’ll lead the Fireball U.S. brand strategy and P&L for the #1 whisky brand and #2 most-sold spirit brand in the U.S.  This role is responsible for the develop of high-impact creative and media plans, spearheading multi-year innovation pipelines, developing breakthrough trade programs, and leading a robust multi-functional team to continue the momentum of Fireball’s growth as a $1 Billion brand!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership and Planning
    • Develop and execute brand strategies to achieve volume, profit, and share goals.
    • Create brand plans, activation initiatives, and new product innovation strategies to support brand growth.
    • Prioritize state-level resources and efforts to meet brand objectives.
    • Lead the strategic brand planning process, including marketing, packaging, pricing, and consumer targeting.
  • KPI and Business Tracking
    • Develop robust KPIs to achieve annual growth targets.
    • Continuously track and monitor brand performance, identifying key opportunities via data analysis.
  • Budgeting and Resource Allocation
    • Develop annual budget for US market, including upside scenario planning.
    • Oversee marketing plans, pricing strategies, channel tactics, and consumer communication initiatives to meet brand objectives.
  • Marketing and Consumer Engagement
    • Lead consumer-focused brand positioning efforts to explode awareness and drive brand equity growth.
    • Drive development of communication and activation plans that build awareness and affinity.
    • Collaborate with agencies for strategic brand plans, creative development, media strategy/buys, POS design, and promotional activities.
    • Engage PR and experiential agencies to enhance visibility and drive brand relevance.
  • Product Innovation / New Business Development (NBD)
    • Develop multi-year innovation roadmap for U.S. and Canada with opportunities for incremental volume, revenue, and profit growth.
    • Lead the end-to-end development and execution of NBD projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
    • Address consumer problems/unmet needs to inform product development and positioning.
  • Team Development and Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Foster a culture of fairness, respect, and motivation within global teams.
    • Coach and mentor high-potential talent to build a strong bench of future leaders.
    • Lead robust cross-functional team across marketing, sales, operations, purchasing, and finance to deliver brand strategies.

Qualifications/Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications to Be Successful:

✔️ Bachelor’s degree

✔️ 6+ years of brand management experience.

✔️ Experience with creative and media development.

✔️ Experience with agency relationship management (internal and/or external).

✔️ Experience with budgeting, P&L management, financial analysis.

✔️ Strong analytics proficiency using Nielsen, COGNOS, or other data systems.

✔️ Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships.

✔️ Previous experience in the Alcohol Beverage or CPG Industries.

✔️ Hands-on experience in implementation or project management.

✔️Record of successful leadership

✔️Excellent oral & written communication skills

✔️Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

✔️Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes

✔️Willingness to travel as needed for business objectives.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a related field.

2+ years of experience in New Business Development.

1+ year of pricing experience.

1+ year of supply chain experience.

1+ year of experience leading the development and execution of commercial strategies.

1+ year of direct-report management experience

 

Physical Requirements:

Compensation: Placement within the salary range is calculated based on years of directly relatable experience for the position. The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel, or cell phone reimbursement.
