As a Sr. Associate Brand Manager, you’ll support the Private Label /Control Label (PLCL) portfolio in executing brand strategies, activation plans/budgets, new business development (NBD) initiatives, and projects. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Intelligence, DCOE, Operations, Finance, Compliance, agencies, trade partners, and suppliers to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy Execution: Support the execution of strategic plans, annual marketing plans, activation initiatives, and budgets to achieve sales and profit objectives for assigned categories/brands.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Assist in building assigned categories/brands into a growing and profitable consumer business aligned with company goals. Support progress against annual program plans, volume and profit objectives/KPIs, and ensure timely and budget-conscious project execution. Facilitate supplier relations and communication.
- New Business Development (NBD): Contribute to the concepting, development, and execution of NBD opportunities that drive growth for assigned categories/brands. Navigate internal cross-functional processes to ensure timely and budgeted project completion.
- Agency & Marketing Support: Help manage agency efforts in delivering effective and efficient creative solutions, packaging, marketing materials, promotions, public relations, and media for assigned categories/brands, NBD initiatives, projects, and programs.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Prioritize time and resources on BCSPs (Brand Category Strategic Plans) critical to achieving objectives. Utilize data tools to measure and analyze progress and support the team in developing action plans to address performance gaps.
- Project Management: Establish clear priorities and ensure project team members understand their roles. Maintain project updates, facilitate progress, and use the system for communication as needed.
- Strategic Brand Development: Assist in the development of strategic brand planning work, new initiative plans, and special projects for assigned categories/brands.
- Professional Development: Utilize the PDS system and available resources to identify areas for continuous self-improvement. Regularly allocate time to enhance skills outlined in the Development Plan.
- Career Growth & Development: Follow a structured action plan to acquire necessary skills, learning experiences, and results to meet career goals. Utilize the CDS system to track and document progress.
