Job Description/Responsibilities

 

Join the White X team, in partnership with Grammy-nominated artist and entrepreneur Quavo.

 

Join us as an Associate Brand Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and market presence of Cognac.

The role is responsible for supporting assigned categories and brands by executing brand strategies, activation plans, budgets, new business development (NBD) initiatives, and projects. This position involves collaboration with Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Intelligence, DCOE, Operations, Finance, Compliance, agencies, trade partners, and suppliers to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Execution of Strategic Plans

  • Assist in the execution of strategic plans, annual marketing plans, activation initiatives, and budgets for assigned categories and brands to achieve sales and profit objectives.
  • Contribute to cross-functional efforts to grow and build assigned categories and brands into profitable consumer businesses aligned with company goals.

Performance Tracking and Project Management

  • Track progress against annual program plans, volume, and profit objectives/KPIs.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support supplier relationships and maintain effective communication.

New Business Development (NBD)

  • Collaborate on the concepting, development, and execution of NBD opportunities to drive growth.
  • Navigate NBD projects through internal cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Agency Collaboration

  • Support the management of agency efforts to deliver creative solutions, packaging, marketing materials, promotions, public relations, and media for assigned categories, NBD initiatives, and projects.

Resource Allocation and Prioritization

  • Focus time and resources on BCSPs that are critical to achieving objectives.
  • Use data tools and other resources to measure and analyze progress, assisting the team in developing action plans to address gaps.

Organization and Communication

  • Establish clear priorities and ensure project team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate progress updates and use the PPT system to inform stakeholders as necessary.

Strategic Brand Development

  • Contribute to the development of strategic brand plans, new initiative plans, and special projects for assigned categories and brands.

Career Growth Action Plan

  • Create and implement an action plan to gain the skills, learning experiences, and results needed to achieve career goals.
  • Use the CDS (career development system) to track and document progress.

Professional Development

  • Leverage the PDS system and available resources to identify areas for self-improvement.
  • Dedicate time regularly to enhance skills outlined in the Development Plan.

This position requires strong collaboration, organizational, and analytical skills to support the growth and success of assigned categories and brands while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

MUST

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of marketing / brand marketing experience
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Implementation or project management experience
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Experience in a fast paced environment

PREFERRED

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience in New Business Development
  • Experience managing an Advertising Agency
  • Experience w/ Influencer Management 

Physical Requirements

  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to work with international teams 
  • Ability to pay attention to detail

Compensation: Placement within the salary range is calculated based on years of directly relatable experience for the position. The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel, or cell phone reimbursement.
