Job Description/Responsibilities

The Capital Program Manager leads a program of multiple capital projects across all locations.  Responsible for project planning/execution and interact daily with Operations, Legal and Compliance to ensure proper governance of the projects.  Partner with business unit owners on a regular basis and report results to the leaders.  Support delivery of company strategic projects, lead standard development for project management and execution. Ensure project responsible for project planning/execution and interact daily with Operations, Legal and Compliance to ensure proper governance of the projects best practices are developed and adhered to.              

 

  • Use Performance Development System (PDS) to enhance performance within the company through evaluation, planning, and goal execution. Strive to constantly develop oneself as a valuable asset through personal and professional growth and attention to the position’s outcomes. Support the widespread use of PDS and support company culture within the organization.
  • Utilize Career Development System (CDS) to identify training needs and design development curriculum, programs and content for the purpose of preparing for career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to manager regarding on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Drive toward continuous improvement, growth, efficiency and cost savings. Serves as center of excellence expertise for engineering projects from design through start up.
  • Partner with facilities to drive cost savings projects across the network. Identify best practices from the network and work with other sites to implement the same actions.
  • Drive toward continuous improvement, growth, efficiency and cost savings.
  • Ensure Environmental and Safety Regulatory & Legal Compliance is maintained by all operations and best practice is pursued.
  • Develop common practices across all facilities. Develop and implement capability improvement programs (process improvement, systems analysis and design).  Partner with Plan Owners, Project Sponsors and Owners to develop comprehensive, consistent, innovative and robust capital plans and projects.   Create project engineering processes and standards across the network to improve continuity, timelines, quality, adherence to construction and engineering best practices, and budget adherence.
  • Design, build, and maintain functional, integrated and scalable systems throughout the entire organization.

Qualifications/Requirements

MUST

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience developing/implementing capability improvement programs (process improvement, systems analysis and design)
  • Experience participating in and/or leading change management initiatives
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, initiative, attention to detail and creativity
  • 7 years relevant experience (minimum)

PREFERRED

  • Master's degree in related field
  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 50% (local to KY, with occasional travel beyond KY)
