Job Description/Responsibilities

Sales Analytics Reporting Lead

Bio: The Sales Analytics Reporting Lead will be responsible for identifying and executing volume, share, and profit growth opportunities utilizing data analytics. This role will collaborate with the sales team to enhance KPIs and drive best-in-class execution of our brand plans. The individual will lead the development and refinement of analytical tools aimed at facilitating topline growth and cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, this person will oversee the US Sales Analytics team based in the US, providing technical leadership to the team.

 

  • Use PDS to enhance performance within the company through evaluation, planning, and goal execution. Strive to constantly develop oneself as a valuable asset through personal and professional growth and attention to the position’s outcomes.
  • Be a contributor to growing our Top & Bottom line by improving & optimizing our per case metrics.
  • Utilize CDS system to identify training needs and design development curriculum, programs and content for the purpose of preparing for career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to manager regarding on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Strive to be an ideal Sazerac Team Member and serve as a role model for the Sazerac culture. Take an active role in communicating and living by the values that define the Sazerac culture.
  • Support Sales and Marketing planning activities to ensure goals and accountability are achieved across all Brands and Markets. Support the development of key Brand/Sales presentations and business reviews--- with a focus on actions to improve revenue and profitability.
  • Improve processes related to New Business Development, spend management, ROI analysis, etc.  These efforts can seek "incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement all at once. All are evaluated in the light of their efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility.
  • Apply rigor to Sales and Marketing strategies and tactics. Provide analytical support in areas of volumetrics, pricing, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis. Sell recommendations and evaluate/communicate results throughout the organization.
  • Assess the reports and intelligence needed by Sales leaders, develop turnkey tools and reports that create cut through and provide insights

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements

MUST

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • experience in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Experience with data warehousing and data lake methodology
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Experience in Agile Methodologies SCRUM
  • Experience in analyzing prepared datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Experience in creating interactive dashboards and reports (primarily in Power BI) to communicate business performance, trends, and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Experience in interpersonal collaboration to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions, ensuring reports are intuitive and actionable.
  • Experience in performing exploratory data analysis, designs custom visuals, and supports self-service BI initiatives that empower non-technical users to explore data independently.
  • Experience in technical leading a team.
  • Experience with MS Power BI / Fabric in Data Modelling and Data Visualization.
  • 3 years experience in a fast paced environment
  • 4 years relevant experience (minimum)

PREFERRED

  • Database Engines:  SQL Server, DB2, and Azure SQL

Physical Requirements

  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
