Job Description/Responsibilities

The Marketing Assistant – Shooters and Agave supports the marketing and sales teams in the execution of brand strategy and activation. Primary responsibilities include executing ABA projects, NBD initiatives, brand & sales support, and working cross-functionally with Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Intelligence, DCOE, Operations, Finance, Compliance, agencies, trade partners, and suppliers where applicable to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing and sales teams in the execution of brand strategy and activation by managing assigned ABA projects, NBD initiatives, brand & sales support, etc., to achieve volume and financial objectives.
  • Assist the marketing and sales teams in building assigned categories/brands into a growing and profitable consumer business consistent with the company’s overall goals by facilitating and tracking progress against priorities and projects. Communicate with sales and assess project feedback. Support supplier relations and communication where needed.
  • For assigned priorities and projects, support the development and execution of NBD opportunities that drive growth. Navigate NBD projects through internal cross-functional teams and processes, track progress, and update all stakeholders. Conduct postmortem analysis.
  • Establish well-organized priorities for yourself. Ensure project team members understand their roles, updates are posted, and priorities are successfully completed. Facilitate and ensure progress and use the PPT system to inform as appropriate.
  • For assigned projects, prioritize time and resources on BCSPs most critical to achieving objectives. Use data tools and other resources to measure, analyze, and report progress.
  • Utilize the Professional Development System (PDS) system and available resources to identify areas for continuous self-improvement. Regularly dedicate time to growing the skills outlined in the Development Plan.
  • Develop and follow an action plan to gain the skills, learning experiences, and results needed to meet career goals. Use the Career Development System (CDS) system to guide and record progress.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years’ Experience in New Business Development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)

PREFERRED

  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience.
  • 1+ years’ implementation or project management experience.
  • 1+ years’ implementation or project management experience.
  • 1+ years’ Supply Chain Experience

Physical Requirements

  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to work remote
  • Ability to pay attention to detail

Compensation: Placement within the salary range is calculated based on years of directly relatable experience for the position. The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel, or cell phone reimbursement.
