Job Description/Responsibilities

Bio: The IT Business Systems Analyst is a crucial role in the integration and optimization of electronic data exchange between multiple internal and external business partners. This individual will bridge the gaps between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that data flows efficiently and securely between systems, partners, and stakeholders, ultimately driving operational success and improving the bottom line.

 

  • IT Business Continuation Plan. Manage projects, streamlining processes, and improved data exchange through partnership of multiple internal and external business partners.
  • Facilitate the smooth integration of new business partners into EDI system, improving collaboration with minimal disruption. Customize EDI solutions to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Ensures that the EDI/B2B systems are running efficiently, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting any issues before they cause significant disruptions.
  • Assist leadership in managing B2B/EDI Automation planning, forecasting, and delivery. Effectively use EDI and B2B integration can respond faster to market demands, adjust quickly to changes, and meet customer expectations more efficiently than competitors.
  • Continually work to improve data quality, data monitoring and removing waste from the B2B/EDI processes. Generate customized reports that provide actionable insights, helping executives and decision-makers drive better business outcomes

  • Continually work to improve designated skills to grow with the company and become an effective and productive team member.
  • Partner with supervisor to develop and actively participate in a career development program by working on designated skills and stretch projects/goals that push outside of comfort zone.
  • Partner with IT Operations to ensure maintenance processes are fully documented and maintained, along with verifying the data is backed up and replicated per our DR and HA policies.
  • Record Process for B2B/EDI and architectural standards documentation for end to end flow. Manage Enterprise Licensing Agreements for Global Infrastructure for B2B/EDI

Qualifications/Requirements

MUST

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
  • Comfortable building new processes and teams - must enjoy some ambiguity but also have the ability to set the course
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years relevant experience (minimum)

PREFERRED

  • A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to integrate multiple tools to solve problems
  • Ability to identify new opportunities to support key initiatives / improve existing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Demonstrated experience communicating technical information to business clients and less experienced technologists.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships with retail customers and internal cross-functional teams
  • Experience in custom ETL development
  • Experience with System 21 ERP software

Physical Requirements

  • A valid driver's license
