Job Description/Responsibilities

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for indirect services such as professional services, marketing, IT, facilities management, and other non-production related services.


Responsibilities

  • Use Performance Development System (PDS) to enhance performance within the company through evaluation, planning, and goal execution. Strive to constantly develop oneself as a valuable asset through personal and professional growth and attention to the position’s outcomes. Support the widespread use of PDS and support company culture within the organization.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and issue resolution to ensure continuous improvement and value optimization. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies across all IT services and software purchases. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards in procurement activities, including environmental and social responsibility considerations.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing procurement processes, driving innovation, and achieving organizational goals related to IT services. Drive continuous improvements and cost reduction initiatives through the procurement process. Establish and maintain procurement KPIs to ensure cost-effective spending and purchasing decisions.
  • Develop and implement procurement category and sourcing strategies, aligning with organizational objectives and budgetary constraints. Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing favorable terms and conditions through sourcing process best practices.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee the procurement and sourcing of IT sub-categories aiming at delivering cost savings. Collaborate with internal stakeholdersto understand their procurement needs and provide strategic guidance and support.
  • Utilize PPT as a task/project management tool where and when appropriate. Use PPT to accelerate progress on projects, identify / keep in contact with team members and make sure all projects are up to date. Adhere to standardized ways of working and all procurement policies.
  • Utilize data analytics tools and procurement software to track key performance metrics, generate reports, and inform decision-making.
  • Utilize Career Development System (CDS) to identify training needs and design development curriculum, programs and content for the purpose of preparing for career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to manager regarding on-the-job learning opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements

Must

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow up skills
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
  • 7 years relevant experience (minimum)

Preferred

  • Master's degree in related field
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

  • Ability to travel (up to 25%)
  • In-person job attendance
