Job Description/Responsibilities

Drive demand for Sazerac’s brand portfolio by delivering guest propositions through tailored outlet programs and national initiatives, supported by innovative On-Premise tools and timely execution.

 

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Identify outlet segment-specific purchasing behavior to create targeted programs that drive guest traffic and increase revenue.
  • Develop toolkits and segment-specific ideas to support Tier 3 and 4 accounts.
  • Collaborate with Planning & Activation to integrate On-Premises tools into annual brand plans and calendars.
  • Own the execution of On-Premises marketing programs for National Accounts (60%) and Independents (40%).

Guest & Consumer Insight

  • Generate and apply guest insights and consumption occasions to inform On-Premises activation.
  • Translate insights into scalable On-Premises activities for National Accounts and independent clusters.
  • Serve as lead on Tier 1 and Tier 2 National On-Premises customer relationships, including strategy, program development, RFP involvement, presentations, and negotiations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with brand marketing, field marketing, and sales to develop impactful shopper marketing programs.
  • Partner with Shopper Marketing Activation for planning and resourcing programs.
  • Co-develop marketing visibility standards for each outlet segment with internal stakeholders.

Communication & Tools

  • Manage the On-Premises Marketing programming newsletter and communication for internal and customer distribution.
  • Ensure internal and external teams understand roles, priorities, and progress updates via the PPT system.

Professional Development

  • Use the Performance Development System (PDS) to evaluate performance, set goals, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage the Career Development System (CDS) to identify training needs, build development content, and support long-term growth within the company.
  • Provide feedback on on-the-job learning opportunities to your manager.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years relevant experience driving demand for brand portfolios, delivering tailored outlet programs and national account initiatives.
  • Customer relationships management and innovative solutions to unlock programming and future growth drivers
  • Exceptional customer high pressure negotiation skills​
  • Direct experience with national account landscape
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience
  • Thorough understanding of the spirits industry
  • Experience and comfort with Sales, Category Leadership, Brand Marketing and Creative teams
  • Experience leading people through influence, where no direct reporting relationship exists
  • Solid route-to-market and distributor understanding
  • Detailed experience of how sales and marketing operate to develop and execute against guest-centric strategies
  • Ability to link strategy to implementation
  • Strong project and stakeholder management ability

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel (up to 25%)
