Job Description/Responsibilities

Bio
The Sales Data Analyst will support reporting and analysis for volume, share, and profit growth with data analytics. The role will work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop dashboards, perform advanced data modeling, and extract actionable insights from complex datasets. This person will play a pivotal part in developing tools and reports that guide fact-based decision-making, ensure data integrity, and improve execution across sales functions. This individual will also assist in supporting and training business users in utilizing self-service BI tools.

Responsibilities
  • Use PDS to enhance performance within the company through evaluation, planning, and goal execution. Strive to constantly develop oneself as a valuable asset through personal and professional growth and attention to the position’s outcomes.
  • Be a contributor to growing our Top & Bottom line by improving & optimizing our per case metrics.
  • Utilize CDS system to identify training needs and design development curriculum, programs and content for the purpose of preparing for career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to manager regarding on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Strive to be an ideal Sazerac Team Member and serve as a role model for the Sazerac culture. Take an active role in communicating and living by the values that define the Sazerac culture.
  • Support Sales and Marketing planning activities to ensure goals and accountability are achieved across all Brands and Markets. Support the development of key Brand/Sales presentations and business reviews--- with a focus on actions to improve revenue and profitability.
  • Improve processes related to New Business Development, spend management, ROI analysis, etc. These efforts can seek "incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement all at once. All are evaluated in the light of their efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility.
  • Apply rigor to Sales and Marketing strategies and tactics. Provide analytical support in areas of volumetrics, pricing, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis. Sell recommendations and evaluate/communicate results throughout the organization.
  • Assess the reports and intelligence needed by Sales leaders, develop turnkey tools and reports that create cut through and provide insights.

Qualifications/Requirements

Must

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • experience in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • 3 years experience in a fast paced environment
  • 3 years years of relevant data analytics experience

Preferred

  • Experience in Agile Methodologies SCRUM

Physical

  • A valid driver's license
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
