Job Description/Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities (Responsibilities may vary by state depending on regulatory and compliance standards):

  • Lead KPI development and execution for distributor Key Account Managers to accelerate volume, distribution, and share growth in On-Premise Key Accounts.
  • Manage key mountain resort markets, focusing on building share and elevating presence in high-profile on-premise accounts.
  • Partner with distributor and wholesaler leadership in key mountain markets (Aspen, Vail, Glenwood Springs) to strengthen relationships with influential on-premise operators and drive new account development.
  • Conduct weekly planning and alignment connects with distributor teams; collaborate cross-functionally with MDRs, MDMs, RSEM, SM, and ERCO Team Leads.
  • Execute On-Premise programming and activations including Crew Drives, cocktail trainings, and ERCO education sessions.
  • Ensure pricing and promotional strategies for on-premise accounts align with brand objectives; recommend adjustments and implement targeted programming to maximize account performance.
  • Develop and track KPIs with distributor HQ managers to ensure growth of focus brands within the defined On-Premise Key Account universe.
  • Deliver on-premise retail intelligence to State and Division Managers, including consumer trends, competitor activity, and emerging consumption behaviors.
  • Serve as primary communicator of On-Premise National Account initiatives to distributor partners, ensuring flawless compliance and execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top on-premise accounts; establish Joint Business Plans to drive distribution, visibility, and program execution.
  • Partner with State Manager to design and execute robust KPIs for new account development and growth within existing account base.
  • Collaborate closely with wholesaler and market leadership to strengthen partnerships and expand the on-premise account footprint.

Qualifications/Requirements

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of On-Premise Key Account sales experience with proven success in account growth and program execution.
  • Sales management experience in CPG and/or Alcohol Beverage.
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships and influence account-level decision makers.
  • Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, financial awareness, and customer service orientation.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends) and travel up to 50%.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred:

  • Regional or National On-Premise Key Account experience.
  • Direct sales experience in the spirits industry.
