The Production Maintenance Supervisor leads day-to-day maintenance operations within the bottling and processing facility. This role ensures all equipment, utilities, and systems are properly maintained to support safe, efficient, and high-quality beverage production. The supervisor oversees maintenance technicians, coordinates preventive maintenance programs, and drives reliability initiatives that minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance technicians to ensure timely support of production operations.
Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on processing, bottling, packaging, and utility equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize unplanned downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance records through the facility’s CMMS or ERP system.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support line changeovers, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, GMP, and food safety requirements (FDA, FSSC 22000, HACCP).
Manage spare parts inventory and work with vendors or contractors as needed for specialized repairs.
Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices.
Enforce safety policies, perform regular inspections, and promote a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.
Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with CMMS, ERP, or automated maintenance scheduling systems.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Previous maintenance leadership experience in beverage or liquid processing facilities.
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and automation controls.
Certification or training in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
