The Quality Lead will ensure that products meet the highest quality standards, oversee and champion our quality assurance initiatives across multiple programs. This role will be responsible for overseeing the sensory and environmental programs, driving continuous improvement, managing RO sampling, and ensuring robust quality systems verification and tracking. Job Description/Responsibilities

· Train panelists and ensure proper documentation of sensory results.

· Monitor environmental controls and compliance with regulatory standards (air Quality, environmental swabs, maintain site heat map).

· Conduct routine audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Lead cross-functional projects aimed at process optimization and waste reduction. SPC experience highly desired.

· Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies to drive measurable improvements.

· Coordinate Reverse Osmosis (RO) water sampling schedules and testing protocols, monitor results and corrective actions.

· Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics.

· Provide insights and recommendations based on trend analysis.

· Maintain the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) log.

· Ensure timely resolution of issues and proper documentation of root cause analysis and effectiveness checks

· Monitor the facility’s pest control program in collaboration with third-party providers.

· Investigate pest-related incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions.

· Ensure compliance with GMP, FSSC22000 and company procedures.

· Support nonconformance management and proper segregation of nonconforming materials.

· Support regulatory inspections, internal audits, and customer audits as needed.

· Train factory staff in quality systems.

· Mentor junior quality personnel on quality systems, CAPA and investigations.

· Provide guidance and support to ensure effective performance and professional development.

· Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures as well as OSHA/FSSC standards.

· Comply with all Quality, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP requirements, programs and concepts.

· Comply with Environmental compliance, energy savings, and recycling requirements.

· Comply with Safety requirements including but not limited to PPE, LOTO, Emergency Preparedness, machine guarding and safety rules.

· Coordinate and refine sensory evaluation protocols for product consistency and consumer satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

· Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

· Proficiency in quality control methodologies, report generation, and audit processes.

· High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of quality and reporting.

· Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience with experience developing a team.

· Able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

· Able to work on multiple levels (mezzanines, ladders, steps, etc....).

· Able to work under extreme conditions (small space, hot/cold, wet, noisy, etc....).

· Strong math and problem-solving skills.

· Must have a working knowledge of Windows based systems as well as other PC/Control Equipment.

· Must be able to work under pressure during stressful situations.

· Must be able to work flexible shifts (up to 12 hours) as determined by business needs.

· Must be able to maintain work standards as it pertains to Safety, Quality, and Teamwork.
