STAVE JOINTER TECHNICIAN - CC - RSC
Bio: Routine maintenance tasks & coordinating maintenance activities of Stave Jointer Machines. Ensure that inspections are completed regularly, working with team members to better understand how the equipment works and ensuring we maintain the machines at a high standard. Perform PM tasks and small maintenance repairs on all stave jointer machines. Provide operator training related to the autonomous maintenance and mechanical operation. Develop and Improve standards related to operation and maintenance of the equipment. Providing input and feedback for equipment improvements to reduce downtime and improve efficiencies. Manage work orders and coordinate with maintenance on their completion. Work with production leadership to meet daily production goals safely and with the best quality.
Understand and comply with safety requirements of position; keep safety top of mind at all times and prevent co-workers from working unsafely. Report all safety concerns and all accidents and near misses immediately. Participate in safety inspections and accident investigations. Keep workplace clean and free of debris at all times
o The Mechanical skills needed for the job will be utilized through Preventative Maintenance Programs and Re-Active Maintenance situations in order to produce safe and quality product in a time-frame that will meet customer demand
o Actively engage in keeping work area and facility grounds up to the established standards. Performance will be measured by KPIs and the Culture surveys. Own the standard operating procedure for the specific job. Continuously improve quality driven actions that lead to the award winning results.
o Improve at least one skill each year as agreed with supervisor. Deliver on performance against outcomes.
o Develop the skills needed to attain the desired career path within the organization. Individuals are responsible for identifying their own career goals and communicating same to their supervisor.
o Continually seek ways to improve performance as measured by departmental Key Performance Indicators.
o Will complete actions and tasks that support the regulatory and legal compliance of RSC.

REQUIREMENTS
MUST
o Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
o High School diploma or GED equivalent
o Must be at least 18 years old
o Good physical health. For example; capable of working on your feet, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling, and squatting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
o Ability to operate Industrial equipment as required.
