Corporate Accountant

(Public Accounting / Audit Backgrounds Welcome)

We’re looking for a Corporate Accountant to own the close, not just audit it. This role offers hands-on responsibility for journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and GAAP reporting — plus exposure to ERP systems and process improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Own month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Perform variance analysis and resolve reconciling items
• Support external audits from the client side
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Partner with Operations, Commercial Finance, AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, FP&A and IT functions
• Help improve and modernize accounting processes

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years accounting experience (public accounting audit strongly preferred)
• Strong GAAP foundation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced close environment
• Advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, reconciliations)
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
• CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
