Job Description/Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Sales Analytics Analyst acts as a collaborative business partner to Sales, supporting volume, share, and profit growth through clear reporting, data analysis, and actionable insights. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, translate questions into analytical approaches, and deliver actionable insights that support fact-based decision-making

The Sales Analytics Analyst will contribute to the development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards, perform hands-on data analysis, and help identify trends and performance opportunities across brands and markets. They will play a key role in improving sales execution, enhancing KPI visibility, and supporting users in leveraging self-service BI tools.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales, pricing, volume, share, and profitability data to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports (primarily in Power BI) that clearly communicate performance, trends, and insights.
  • Perform exploration data analysis and advanced data modeling to uncover patterns, drivers, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the business to support Sales planning activities and drive aligned goals, accountability, and execution across all Brands and Markets.
  • Apply analytical rigor to sales strategies, including volumetrics, pricing, competitive intelligence, spend management, and ROI analysis.
  • Translate business questions into data requirements and analytical solutions.
  • Assess reporting and intelligence needs of Sales leaders and deliver intuitive, turnkey tools that enable faster, better decisions.
  • Support New Business Development analysis while enhancing and continuously improving analytical processes and tools.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with business users to deliver training and support on self-service BI tools and best practices, strengthening data literacy across the organization.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant data analytics experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced SQL and Power BI skills, including data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
  • Experience analyzing prepared datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics and KPIs (e.g., revenue, margin, price, volume, forecast vs. actual, YoY/MoM).
  • Experience with data warehousing and data lake environments.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly learn new systems and processes.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM).
  • Experience with enterprise databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, DB2, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Fabric capabilities.
  • Background in sales, commercial finance, or revenue analytics.
  • Experience supporting global sales or finance teams.
