Job Description/Responsibilities

Summary Description

BuzzBallz is seeking an experienced Materials Planner to support bottling operations by aligning material supply with production demand. This role is responsible for ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to meet customer service goals while minimizing inventory costs and supporting production efficiency. The Materials Planner works cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to support growth initiatives, new product development, and continuous improvement within a regulated food and beverage environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage material requirements to support production schedules and customer demand.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to balance service levels, production efficiency, and carrying costs.
  • Utilize ERP, MRP, and MPS systems to plan materials, monitor inventory performance, and support production planning.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to prevent material shortages, excess inventory, or production downtime.
  • Support new product development and brand initiatives by planning materials and finished goods availability.
  • Track KPIs related to inventory, service levels, and production performance; identify and implement improvement opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in materials planning, production planning, or supply chain.
  • Experience in the alcohol beverage industry or consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing environment.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing systems such as ERP, MRP, MPS, or WMS.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Knowledge of import/export processes and regulations, including FDA and U.S. Customs.
  • Experience implementing or supporting integrated planning or forecasting systems.
  • Supply chain or organizational development experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting cost reduction or continuous improvement initiatives.
