Job Description/Responsibilities

As a CDL Driver, you'll play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operation by safely transporting materials and finished goods while ensuring on-time deliveries and regulatory compliance. You'll operate commercial vehicles, complete required inspections and documentation, and work closely with operations teams to keep production moving. Shift Schedule: 

 

Shift A works Sunday - Tuesday (6:00AM – 6:00PM) and Wednesdays (6AM – 12PM).

Shift B works Sunday night - Tuesday night (6:00PM – 6:00AM), and Wed (6PM – 12AM Thur).

Shift C works Thursday - Saturday, (6:00AM – 6:00PM) and Wed (12:00PM – 6:00PM).

Shift D works Thursday - Saturday nights, (6:00PM – 6:00AM), and Thur (12:00AM – 6:00AM).

What You'll Do

  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport raw materials and finished goods while complying with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete electronic driver logs, and maintain accurate transportation documentation.
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials while protecting product quality and ensuring on-time deliveries.
  • Communicate route changes, equipment concerns, and delivery updates while partnering with warehouse and production teams to support daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and immediately report accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues.

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet all DOT, FMCSA, and company requirements, including DOT physical, drug and alcohol testing, and background screening.
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe operating practices with the flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.

Preferred

  • Two or more years of commercial driving experience.
  • HazMat and Tanker endorsements or the ability to obtain required endorsements.
  • Experience using electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transporting materials in a manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or regulated environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely load, unload, and secure materials.
  • Ability to climb into and out of commercial vehicles, inspect equipment, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Regular, reliable on-site attendance is required, with overtime as needed to support business operations.

The hourly rate for this role is $26.51 per hour, with a $2.00 per hour shift differential available for eligible night shift positions.
