The Loss Prevention Guard serves as the first point of contact for all visitors entering the facility. This role is responsible for controlling and monitoring all access to and egress from the plant, including employees, contractors, visitors, and commercial vehicles, in accordance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
The Security Office functions as the central communications hub for the facility and operates as the control center for emergency response personnel and vehicles during crisis situations. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Monitor and control entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and delivery vehicles.
Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for facility access.
Maintain accurate visitor logs and security records.
Conduct routine patrols and surveillance of facility premises.
Investigate and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or policy violations.
Support the company’s safety program and ensure compliance with all facility safety protocols.
Act as the central communication point during emergencies and coordinate with emergency responders.
Assist in emergency drills, incident reporting, and crisis management procedures.
Monitor alarm systems, cameras, and security equipment.
Ensure security procedures meet local, state, federal, and industry regulatory requirements.
Support compliance with TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) regulations and other applicable governing agencies.
Maintain documentation and reports required for regulatory compliance.
Provide professional and courteous service to employees, visitors, and contractors.
Assist guests with facility access, directions, and check-in procedures.
Address requests, concerns, or issues promptly to maintain a positive visitor experience.
Protect company property and assets by monitoring facility operations and enforcing security policies.
Document incidents involving theft, damage, or security violations.
Participate in ongoing initiatives to improve security processes and operational efficiency.
Contribute ideas and feedback for enhancing safety, compliance, and security systems.
Support implementation of new security procedures and technologies.
