Job Description/Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Logistics Coordinator to help elevate our domestic logistics operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring raw materials and finished goods move safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively across our network.

You’ll partner with internal teams, external customers, facilities, and transportation providers to drive on-time pickups and deliveries, eliminate out-of-stocks, optimize load factors, and reduce freight and storage costs. This position offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on service levels, cost performance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

 

Customer Excellence

  • Deliver best-in-class service to both internal and external customers
  • Anticipate needs, proactively resolve issues, and build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Drive consistent on-time performance and service reliability

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Lead ongoing process improvements—both incremental and breakthrough initiatives—to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and effectiveness
  • Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service
  • Improve logistics performance by maximizing load factors and minimizing freight and storage costs

Performance Management & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across logistics and related disciplines
  • Support dashboard and reporting systems that provide actionable visibility into performance
  • Participate in performance management systems, including evaluation frameworks and structured feedback processes

Collaboration & Culture

  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, procurement, and executive leadership
  • Reinforce company culture through consistent communication and engagement
  • Contribute to improving employee engagement and culture survey results through measurable actions

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3–5 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, and/or transportation
  • Experience driving change and improving processes within an organization
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Hybrid work schedule (Louisville)

Preferred

  • Experience in the alcohol beverage industry or broader CPG industry
  • Supply chain experience
  • Master’s degree in a related field
