Company/Location Overview

Iron Bull Distillery is a part of the Sazerac Company. We are in Halethorpe, Maryland and offer a great work culture, competitive compensation and benefits as well as a focus on work/life balance. We operate Monday-Thursday and some Fridays.

Job Description/Responsibilities

We’re looking for a skilled Electromechanical Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, highly automated environment. In this role, you’ll take ownership of equipment reliability and performance across the facility—combining hands-on electrical and mechanical expertise with problem-solving and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in minimizing downtime, optimizing systems, and helping shape a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

 

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm with some overtime

  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, and control systems
  • Diagnose equipment issues and implement solutions to reduce downtime and improve reliability
  • Develop and execute PM programs for plant equipment and infrastructure
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings
  • Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Collaborate across teams to prioritize maintenance, improve performance, and uphold SOPs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and environmental standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant electromechanical or industrial maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree
  • Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (programming, troubleshooting, and hardware)

The annual salary range for this role is $32.40- $48.60. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
