Job Description/Responsibilities

As a Materials Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring critical production materials are available, inventory is accurate, and supplier relationships stay strong. This role offers opportunities to build analytical, planning, and leadership skills while partnering closely with cross-functional teams across production, planning, distribution, and procurement.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage inventory levels of production materials and dry goods to ensure adequate supply for manufacturing schedules and customer demand.
  • Coordinate supplier releases, shipments, repacks, transfers, and inbound/outbound inventory transactions while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Conduct inventory analysis, cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and obsolete inventory reviews to support operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.
  • Partner with Production Planning and Distribution teams to maintain safety stock levels, support forecasting, and resolve material or departmental issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, materials coordination, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.

Preferred

  • Previous Forklift experience
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, MPS, or WMS manufacturing systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.

The hourly range for this role is $28.19 - $42.29. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
