Job Description/Responsibilities

The Processing Supervisor leads daily processing operations that support the bottling schedule, product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role oversees product batching, blending, filtration, ingredient receiving, inventory management, and team performance while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. The position offers the opportunity to lead a skilled team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and influence key operational and financial metrics. Success in this role comes from balancing people leadership, process execution, and a commitment to quality and safety.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily processing operations including batching, blending, filtration, ingredient receiving, inventory management, and resource planning to meet production schedules
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, environmental, quality, DOT, Hazmat, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics related to product loss, labor efficiency, overtime utilization, quality, and operational costs
  • Supervise, develop, and coach team members while supporting performance management, career development, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement projects, support audits and compliance reporting, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet customer and business objectives

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, processing, receiving, or production operations
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred

  • Experience in beverage processing, food and beverage manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) operations
  • Experience managing inventory control, perpetual inventory systems, budgeting, and regulatory compliance programs
  • Experience leading teams in a unionized manufacturing environment and working with beverage processing equipment
