The Gift Shop Attendant creates a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for visitors and internal customers. This role handles retail transactions, answers questions, and keeps the gift shop well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced visitor environment. 

Schedule: Part-time position working 3-4 8 hour days a week.

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist visitors with questions, product information, and purchases.
• Process retail transactions accurately and efficiently while following established cash-handling and sales procedures.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and attractive sales floor by restocking merchandise and keeping displays presentable.
• Monitor inventory and merchandise levels and communicate restocking needs to the appropriate team members.
• Support VIP guest visits and other special visitor needs as requested.

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service.

Preferred

• Experience supporting VIP guest visits or special guest experiences.
• Experience in tourism, hospitality, or a visitor-focused environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and move throughout the gift shop as needed.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, climb stairs or ladders, and sit as required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

The hourly range for this role is $17-$19 an hour.
