    Job Description/Responsibilities

    Position: Regional Trade Marketing Manager – South West

    Preferred Location: Texas

    Region Responsible For: Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas


    The Regional Trade Marketing Manager – South West is a local marketing resource for sales team and serves to link sales needs with brand initiatives to ensure more impactful planning, communication, execution, and measurement of brand state priorities and new business development initiatives.


    The Regional Trade Marketing Manager is held accountable to, however not limited to the following:

    • Partner with local state managers and/or Division Managers to ensure appropriate resourcing and programming against (up to) the top brand state priorities within each state or a division.
    • Build brand state priorities by working with local sales team to localize national programs and to craft locally led trade marketing programs including sourcing/purchasing materials where needed.
    • Consolidate and communicate all new business development initiatives to local Division Managers and/or state sales teams.
    • Participate in developing develop annual department budget and adhere to the annual budget.
    • Partner with brand team to ensure all locally crafted programs, materials, etc. are on brand strategy and that brand standards, information and tools are being used in priority accounts, etc.
    • Manage agency work on brand and new business development projects and programs, ensure execution against activity calendar and act as liaison between agency and sales team where needed.
    • Gather qualitative feedback on all programming, measures for effectiveness and share best practices with peer group and brand teams.
    • Manage & lead execution around key tasting events that build our brands according to brand standards.


    Required Qualifications for Position:

    • Bachelors Degree
    • 3-5 years relevant sales/marketing experience
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
    • Wine and spirits industry experience
    • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
    • Proficient in Microsoft office products
    • Willingness to travel
    • Strong planning and organizational skills


    Preferred Qualification for Position:

    • MBA
    • New Business Development experience
    • 5 - 10 years relevant experience
