    Job Description/Responsibilities

    Position: Operations Manager

    Location: Carson, California

    As the Operations Manager for Barton Brands of California, one is held accountable, but not limited to the following priorities for position:


    • Meet and exceed customer expectations through efficient management (exceeding line efficiency targets) to deliver product on time, within budget and to meet all quality specifications.
    • Ensure execution of sound safety programs to achieve zero injuries at the facility.
    • Promote the creation of a safety culture to ensure employees think safety first and watch out for the safety of their teammates; execute and evaluate policies and programs to enhance the safety of all employees; support and actively participate on safety committee; promote quick identification and remedy of safety hazards.
    • Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices.
    • Oversees processing, bottling and shipping operations accomplishing the production needs within safety, quality, budgetary and regulatory guidelines.
    • Develops employees, plans and implements operational improvements.
    • Ensure production efficiency and within cost standards.
    • Understands career goals of employees and work with them to develop skills that will help them attain the desired career path within the organization.
    • Leads operations in a manner consistent with the culture of the company.
    • Contributes to the planning and implementation of operational improvement through system and process changes to achieve a world class bottling operation.



    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience


    • Demonstrated knowledge of all relevant government regulations
    • Experience in the food & beverage industry
    • Experience designing and/or implementing OSHA, HACCP, USDA programs
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
    • Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
    • Charismatic leader with evidence of strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills
    • Strong mathematical skills
    • Ability to formulate compliance solutions acceptable to both Government Agencies and Company Plants
