Job Description/Responsibilities

Position: State Sales Manager – Florida (Key Account Sales)

Preferred Location: Tampa, FL area or South Florida

 

Sazerac Company is hiring a State Sales Manager – Florida (Key Account Sales) to assist in growing our key account business. As the State Manager for our Key Accounts, is responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Achieve volume objectives for the market brand state priorities and monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results through the use of KPI tracking and COGNOS.
  • Monitor and ensure that Brand State Priority volume objectives are achieved in the market.
  • Achieve the Brand State Priority volume objectives for assigned brands.
  • Develop and implement agreed upon Key Performance Indicators with key distributors to ensure focus on Brand State Priorities for the market.
  • Develop, agree to and monitor appropriate Key Performance Indicators with distributors in market on specific brand state priorities.
  • Identify, develop and propose strategic price increase opportunities throughout the year that are consistent with brand positioning strategies in the market.
  • Build brands, develop relationships, sell distribution, and coordinate programs with multi-state customers (chains and military) on and off premise.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant sales experience in spirits and/or wine industry
  • National Accounts / Key Account experience - on and off premise
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bachelor Degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Marketing experience
  • Record of successful leadership
