Job Description/Responsibilities

Position: Recruiter 

Ideal Location: Chicago, IL

Recruiting Focus: Sales, Marketing, Operations (Management+), Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, etc.


As a Recruiter for the organization, one is responsible for, however not limited to, the following:

  • Generate and research candidates in support of organizational needs and meet key performance indicators established
  • Cold call and email potentially qualified candidates  
  • Manage, compile and update candidate information using Microsoft Word, Excel and in-house candidate tracking database (Applicant Tracking System)
  • Manage position advertising and coordinate candidate correspondence during recruitment process
  • Collect and examine trends in the market to provide recommendations based on compensation and changes in industry
  • Provided research and project support to the Recruiting Manager for organizational recruitment needs
  • Regularly communicate and engage with candidates to maintain interest, answer questions, keep engaged and direct during recruiting and hiring process
  • Conduct online industry research to compile competitive intelligence
  • Develops understanding of company culture and uses this to ensure candidates for hire are a fit with the company culture
  • Responsible for regulatory compliance related to applicant screening, interviewing and selection including compliance with all EEOC, OFCCP, and all related state and federal regulations.  Becomes knowledgeable of company affirmative action needs and takes steps to ensure a diverse candidate pool


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven success identifying, cold calling and building candidate pool
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Demonstrated knowledge of all relevant government regulations
  • Strong Presentation Skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Succesful previous experience researching and sourcing salaried-exempt professional-level through to executive level positions
  • Masters Degree
  • Working knowledge of iCIMS Applicant Tracking System
  • Certifications in one or more of the following: AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Professional Recruiter Certification, ASA Certified Staffing Professional, etc.
