Job Description/Responsibilities

Position: State Sales Manager – Pennsylvania

Preferred Location: Philadelphia area

Start: Immediately

 

As the State Sales Manager for Pennsylvania, one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following priorities:

  • Develop and communicate volume and profit objectives for the state; monitor and ensure the goal attainment is achieved annually and on target to plan
  • Train and develop the Pennsylvania Sales team, and monitor progress through the use of the internal system to ensure proper development of the team.
  • Develop and communicate Brand State Priority volume and profit objectives for the state
  • Monitor and ensure goal attainment of these objectives through Key Performance Indicators and volumetric and brand contribution measures
  • Establish quantitative execution standards (Key Performance Indicators) and measures for the brand state priorities in the state
  • Increase the profitability of the state of PA by increasing the efficiency of retail pricing and identifying financial opportunities
  • Proactively identify and communicate new brand opportunities via quarterly Competitive Brand Information reports and as opportunities become available; integrate new brand acquisitions into the state
  • Build brands, develop relationships, sell distribution, and coordinate programs with multi-state customers (chains & military); Coordinate these activities across multiple Sazerac Divisions

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or commensurate experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Record of successful leadership
  • Willingness to travel
  • Control State Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry
  • Marketing Experience
  • Supervisory experience
