Job Description/Responsibilities

Sazerac's technical internship offers students a thorough opportunity towork in the distilled spirits industry. Operations include distillation, processing, bottling, distribution, planning and maintenance/engineering..   You will work closely with our operation’s top talent, gain a thorough understanding of our facility's departments and the career opportunities within each, all while working hands on contributing to and leading projects that directly impact company productivity and growth.



  • Work with a mentor to develop project plans and to set goals.

  • Complete process improvement projects in assigned areas including; maintenance/engineering, bottling production, processing, and distilling.

  • Develop and write standards for assigned processes.

  • Technical intern events will also be available both in and out of work. These include networking throughout the company, time with senior leaders and extracurricular activities.

  • Positions located in Frankfort, KY and Owensboro, KY.

  • Sazerac will not sponsor applicants for work visas for these positions


Required Qualifications

  •  Currently pursuing Bachelors or better in engineering
  • Cumulative GPA =3.0 (out of 4.0)
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
