Job Description/Responsibilities

SECOND SHIFT POSITIONS:

 

Responsible for ensuring quality of raw and finished product during production runs;

  • Performs various in-process inspections;
  • Inspects product number, codes, dates, case codes, serial numbers and proof to meet state and TTB requirements;
  • Inspect bottles, caps, fill heights and equipment;
  • Report findings to appropriate individuals;
  • Obtain and document information for product recall, line checks and non-conforming products;
  • Also responsible for laboratory functions including evaluating bulk liquid ingredients, intermediate products and finished bottling tanks for proof, color, clarity, and organoleptic acceptability;
  • May perform other related work as needed.

 

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Ability to operate Industrial equipment as required
  • Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Good vision and manual dexterity
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • No less than 6 months continuous experience in every previous job
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry
  • 1-3 years Lab/QC or related experience
  • Chemistry, biology or other comparable science discipline degree
