Job Description/Responsibilities

Position: Bourbons Associate Brand Manager

Location: Buffalo Trace Distillery, Frankfort, KY

Nearest Cities: Louisville, KY and Lexington, KY

 

As our Associate Brand Manager, one will be held accountable to, however not limited to: 

  • Develop annual budget, create marketing plans and key performance indicators, implement plans and execute Key Performance Indicators to reach objectives
  • Develop and execute strategic brand building plans including yearly activity calendars and budgets for assigned brands
  • Manage company efforts for Experimental Whiskey from packaging, bottling, sales, public relations, marketing, etc.
  • Build Bowman brand into viable consumer business; Provide marketing resources and input on visitor center
  • Manage agency creative work on package development, marketing materials and sales materials for all assigned projects and brands
  • Assist marketing and sales teams in achieving brand state priority objectives and doing same on assigned brands
  • Work with Brand Managers to develop Brand Plans for new brand development initiatives
  • Follow company protocol to concept, plan, develop, launch and successfully execute the brand plan for Premium Small Still Vodkas and Experimental Bourbon brands, as well as new Canadian and North American Whiskey innovation projects
  • Utilize systems to identify places for self-improvement in order to improve effectiveness at job and achieve goals
  • Point person on new initiatives and marketing/operations/sales go to market processes
  • Development and follow action plan to gain learning experiences needed to advance career

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 3 - 5 years business experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Solid computer skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 years relevant experience
  • Alcoholic Beverage Industry compliance experience
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience
  • Wine and spirits industry experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with thee tier distribution system
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • Supply Chain Experience
  • Ad Agency Experience
  • Experience in New Business Development
