    Job Description/Responsibilities

    Barton Brands of California is currently seeking applicants for a laboratory technician position. This position is NEW to the organization and are open due to growth. The laboratory technicians is responsible for, but not limited to:

    • Conducting a thorough chemical and organoleptic analyses in the QC Lab
    • Ensuring all materials received adhere to required specifications
    • Verifying processing steps are performed properly to ensure finished product integrity
    • Performing audits on the manufacturing floor
    • Supplying feedback to frontline team members on quality results and performance
    • Ensuring activities, processes, and products are compliant with government agencies' regulatory requirements including OSHA
    • Writing, organizing and updating lab procedures
    • Participating in and leading problem solving activities to standardize and improve


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor Degree or higher in Chemistry or related degree
    • 1-3 years Lab/QC or related
    • At least 21 years of age
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
    • Ability to effectively multitask
    • Excellent oral & written communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft office products especially Excel
    • Strong analytical and technical skills
    • Solid planning and organizational skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry
