Job Description/Responsibilities

  • Supervise and facilitate all events which occur Buffalo Trace.
  • Seek opportunities to control costs and generate repeat business.
  • Escort potential meeting, event planners, etc. during site visits and address all questions pertaining to the event.
  • Increase number of events to meet yearly goals.
  • Research efficient ways to manage revenue generated from consumer events.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Work with events team on follow up reports after consumer events.
  • Set up VIP visits which may include lunches, tastings and transportation.
  • Act as back up tour guide as needed.
  • Be familiar with Visitor procedures.
  • Assist Master Distiller in coordinating promotional needs to successfully execute off site tastings. 

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

 

  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability to project a professional image
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Experience dealing with VIP guests
  • Strong detail orientation
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years relevant experience in a fast paced environment
  • Minimum 2 years successful work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
