Job Description/Responsibilities

The Operations Supervisor position is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • supervising production employees to ensure accurate and timely production while meeting quality, safety, service and budgetary guidelines
  • tracking and ordering raw materials
  • coordinating plant safety and compliance
  • scheduling production and completing projects to accomplish production requirements according to the standards set by federal, state and local agencies and company policy



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and PC skills
  • At least 21 years of age


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work alone
  • Experience in the food & beverage industry
  • Experience leading self-directed work teams
  • Experience with administering a plant-wide or departmental safety program
